Guwahati Arrival – Kamakhya Temple – Silghat Dolphin Safari – Kaziranga
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, Railway Station, or ISBT, you will be warmly received by our representative and begin your journey through Assam. Your first stop will be the revered Maa Kamakhya Temple, one of India's most sacred Shakti Peethas, situated atop the Nilachal Hills overlooking the Brahmaputra River. After seeking blessings, proceed towards Silghat, a picturesque riverside town on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra. Enjoy an exciting Dolphin Boat Safari at Silghat, where you may spot the rare and endangered Gangetic River Dolphins in their natural habitat while admiring the scenic river landscapes and surrounding countryside. Begin your day before sunrise with the most iconic wildlife experience of Kaziranga. Elephant Safari – Bagori Range Timing: 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM Enjoy a thrilling elephant safari through the grasslands of the Bagori Range. Riding atop trained elephants allows visitors to get remarkably close to wildlife, including the famous one-horned rhinoceros, wild buffaloes, swamp deer, and numerous bird species. After breakfast, proceed for a jeep safari in the less-explored yet ecologically rich Burhapahar Range. Kaziranga – Guwahati Departure
After breakfast, check out from the resort and begin your return journey to Guwahati. En route, you may choose to visit either the magnificent Maha Mrityunjay Temple, home to one of the tallest Shiva Lingas in the world, or the historic Barduwa Satra, an important Vaishnavite monastery established by the great saint-scholar Srimanta Sankardeva.
